The idea of ​​creating a Georgian scientific-practical journal of surgery was first voiced at the meeting of the Scientific Society of Surgeons named after Academician Grigol Mukhadze on June 26, 2015. In April 2016, under the leadership of Professor Guram Tatishvili and with unwavering training, the Georgian peer-reviewed scientific-practical journal “Bulletin of Georgia Surgery” was published. In 2018, by the decision of the Board of the „Gr. Mukhadze Surgical Assotiation of Georgia“, the Journal was renamed “Guram Tatishvili Bulletin of Georgia Surgery” to immortalize the memory of the magazine’s founder and first editor.
